Q:  How thick are asphalt driveways?
A:  2 1/2" compacted to 2" unless otherwise requested.

Q:  How long do we stay off new asphalt?
A:  24 hours and please do not turn your wheels.

Q:  How long do we stay off new sealer?
A:  24 hours or until dry.

Q:  How much gravel base is underneath new asphalt?
A:  Requires 6" to 8" gravel base.  6" in sand areas and 8" to 10" in clay areas.

Q:  Can Davis Construction seal when raining?
A:  No.

Q:  How often should we seal coat a driveway?
A:  Every three to four years but too much sealcoating can damage your driveway.

Q:  Does Davis Construction have any asphalt left over?
A:  No, asphalt is too expensive to have any left over.
